In this talk, Dan Conde will explore ways in which users who are considering migrating from a vSphere virtualization environment to a Linux and OpenStack-based environment can create a gradual migration strategy that enables co-existence of workloads in both environments with a gradual switchover, as opposed to an abrupt rip-and-replace conversion. Dan will examine ways in which a virtualized network environment can be used to develop both isolated and shared network segments to both environments to enable a smooth migration.
