MC Brown is a technology user and writer who has written over 26 books, contributed to many others, and written countless articles on topics as diverse as Microsoft, Linux (including time as LAMP Technologies editor for LinuxWorld magazine), Mac OS, Grid systems and Big Data, databases and data migration. He's worked for Microsoft, IBM MySQL, Sun and Oracle and spoken at numerous events, including MySQL, Percona Live and EclipseWorld. MC is currently the Senior Information Architect for Continuent and is responsible for building the documentation and developing heterogeneous replication technologies.
